Recently, CCTV launched the 2024 “China ESG (Corporate Social Responsibility) Release” and the Model Ceremony series of activities. China CITIC Bank was included in the industry list of “Top 30 Financial Pioneers (2024)” and the special topic list of “Top 50 Pioneers in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (2024)” of Chinese ESG-listed companies. This is the second consecutive year that China CITIC Bank has been selected to be on the pioneer series lists of Chinese ESG-listed companies by CCTV Finance. Its re-selection fully reflects the full recognition from the industry and the capital market for China CITIC Bank’s performance in the field of sustainable development over the long term.

The list is the result of a comprehensive ESG evaluation of Chinese enterprises by China Central Television in conjunction with authoritative institutions such as the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the State-owned Economy Research Think Tank of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the China Enterprise Reform and Development Research Association. This evaluation is carried out by constructing an ESG evaluation system that is in line with international standards and conforms to China’s national conditions.
